As an aid in our quest for sanctity, it is extremely helpful to study and read the lives of the saints. In addition to helping strengthen us in our daily battles against the world, the flesh, and the devil, there is a great deal we can learn from reading the lives of the saints, blesseds, and other dear friends of God. When we read these stories, we notice that they, too, had to struggle to attain that height of virtue that we are all called upon to achieve. And with their intercession, the grace of God, and the help of Our Lady, we will certainly attain it as well.
