Family, Society, and Culture

The Blessed Trinity is a God of order. He has established a plan for the ordered return of mankind to Himself, a plan which Satan seeks to undermine by fomenting disorder. The Divine plan for the salvation of man includes the sanctifying of all societies, first the family — that most fundamental of all societies — and then the state. States and nations must acknowledge the Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ if they are to be blessed with peace, which is "the tranquility of order."

While the ideal can never be perfectly achieved in this veil of tears, there were times and places which witnessed the living of these values in society. This is what produced Christendom, that commonwealth of nations all of whom recognized the Kingship of Christ and the supernatural end of men as members of Christ’s Mystical Body.

This section is a depository for articles on marriage, family life, politics, and economics, the proper ordering of which has very much to do with the salvation of souls, as we have been assured by numerous popes, especially Leo XIII and Pius XI.
